These terms apply to your use of theledwallcompany.com and to the LED wall rental services offered by The LED Wall Company ("we", "us"), based in Langley, British Columbia. By using this website or booking with us, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.
1. Using this website
You may use this website to learn about our services and to contact us. You agree not to:
- send false, misleading or someone else's information through our forms;
- send spam, automated submissions or anything harmful such as malware;
- try to interfere with, overload or gain unauthorized access to the site;
- copy or reuse our content for commercial purposes without our written permission.
2. Our content
The text, photos, videos, logos, graphics and design of this website belong to The LED Wall Company or the people who licensed them to us, and are protected by copyright and trademark law. Client names and logos shown on the site belong to their owners.
3. Prices and information on this site
We work to keep the information on this site accurate, but it is general information, not an offer. Prices shown, such as typical price ranges, are estimates in Canadian dollars to help you plan; they are not quotes. Wall sizes, specifications and availability can change, and photos show past events, so your setup may look different.
4. Quotes and bookings
- Sending a quote request does not reserve equipment or a date, and does not commit you to anything.
- A quote is valid for the period stated on it. Its price is based on the details you gave us (date, venue, wall size, rental length and access); if those change, the price may change.
- A booking is confirmed only when we confirm it to you in writing and any deposit stated in your quote has been paid.
- Your written quote or rental agreement sets out the specific terms of your booking, including price, payment schedule, deposit, cancellation and changes. If anything in it differs from these terms, your quote or rental agreement wins.
- Applicable taxes (GST and PST) are added as shown on your quote and invoice.
5. Your event and venue
Unless your quote says otherwise, you are responsible for:
- arranging venue access for our team at the agreed load-in and load-out times, and telling us in advance about stairs, elevators, loading docks, parking or other access limits;
- making sure the venue allows the installation, and getting any permits or permissions your venue or event requires;
- providing the power we specify, or letting us know so we can quote for it;
- supplying your content on time, and having the rights to everything you ask us to display. We may refuse to show content we believe is unlawful or infringes someone else's rights.
6. Our equipment
All equipment remains our property. Only our technicians may set up, move, operate or take down the wall. You agree to take reasonable care of the equipment while it is at your event, and not to let anyone tamper with it. Responsibility for loss or damage caused by you, your guests or your venue during the rental is set out in your quote or rental agreement.
7. Safety and weather
Safety comes first. Our technicians may pause, adjust or stop operating the wall, or decline to install it, if they reasonably believe conditions are unsafe, for example because of high wind, heavy rain, unstable ground, inadequate power or an unsafe crowd. Outdoor installations depend on the weather, and we will talk through the plan with you in advance.
8. Events outside our control
We are not responsible for delays or failure to perform caused by events beyond our reasonable control, such as severe weather, natural disasters, road closures, power outages at the venue, public health orders or venue cancellations. If one of these affects your booking, we will work with you on a fair solution, such as a new date.
9. Links to other sites
Our site links to other websites, such as our clients' sites and social media. We don't control them and aren't responsible for their content or privacy practices.
10. Disclaimer
This website is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we make no promises that the site will always be available, error-free or free of viruses.
11. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost profits, lost revenue or damage to reputation, arising from your use of this website or our services. For any rental, our total liability to you will not exceed the amount you paid us for that rental. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited, or removes rights you have as a consumer under British Columbia's Business Practices and Consumer Protection Act or other law.
12. Indemnity
You agree to cover our reasonable losses and costs if a third party makes a claim against us because of content you asked us to display, or because you broke these terms or the law.
13. Privacy
How we handle your personal information is explained in our Privacy Policy.
14. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada that apply there. Any dispute will be handled by the courts of British Columbia, or by the Civil Resolution Tribunal where it has jurisdiction. Before going that route, please contact us; most problems can be sorted out with a conversation.
15. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top shows when they last changed. The version in effect when you confirm a booking applies to that booking.
